# Sending SMS in Python

Send text messages through Twilio, Vonage, Infobip or Africa's Talking, all from Python services.

## Get started

Start here if this is your first SMS integration - create the connection and send a text message from a service.

[Tutorial](https://zato.io/docs/dev/examples/sms/send/tutorial.html)

service.py

```
# The message to send ..
message = {
    'To':   '+12025550123',
    'From': '+12025550100',
    'Body': 'See you at 9:00',
}
# .. and send it through Twilio.
conn = self.rest['Twilio SMS']
response = conn.post(message)
response.data['status']
'queued'
```
