Used to create, update, delete and browse through outgoing FTP connections.
Each usage of a connection by a service establishes a new link to the FTP server, i.e. there is no connection pool created in the background, each time a new service connects to a server a new FTP connection is needed. Within a single instance of a service only a single connection to the FTP server is maintained though.
|Active||Whether the connection can be used by services or not. If a connection is not active a service will encounter a zato.common.Inactive exception when attempting to use it.|
|Host||FTP server’s host|
|Port||Port to connect to|
|User||(Optional) A username to connect with. Leave blank to connect anonymously.|
|Password||(Optional) A password to connect with|
|Accounting info||(Optional) An accounting information a server may possibly require (rarely used)|
|Timeout||(Optional) Connection timeout, in seconds|
|Cache directories||Whether FTP directories should be cached within a single FTP connection. In either case, they won’t be cached across multiple invocations of services using the FTP connection.|
A newly created connection definition has a password set to an empty string.
